Usain Bolt’s Under-17s 400m world record, held for an impressive 22 years since 2002, has been broken by teenage Jamaican athlete Nickecoy Bramwell. At the Carifta Games in Grenada, 16-year-old Bramwell clocked a time of 47.26 seconds in the 400m race, narrowly surpassing Bolt’s record by less than a tenth of a second. Despite facing several injuries, Bramwell finished ahead of his competitors, with Kemron Mathlyn and Eagan Neely placing second and third, respectively. Bramwell expressed his goal-focused determination and pride in breaking the record. Usain Bolt, an eight-time Olympic champion, still holds the world record for the fastest 100m
